Training
Cutlass prides itself on being able to provide a bespoke service to all our customers, and as such evidence of recent relevant training can be provided as part of any tender process for all employees. Cutlass Learning Academy has been added to the group of companies to enable us to provide a broad spectrum of face to face and online training programs to meet the career development needs of all employees across all areas of the business.
We provide as standard, continuous assessment training to all our employees as part of the “A Cut Above” initiative. These include Cutlass specialist modules, which include.

Where an SIA Industry related license course has not been attended within the duration of the last licensing period, our employees are encouraged to attend refresher training to ensure all industry related training is current. For example, the SIA recommends refreshing your Physical Intervention training at every renewal.
Our recruitment and selection policies are rigid/strict and and by the time our employees have successfully completed the in-house induction, we are satisfied they are competent and capable to work in the Security Industry.
Our training courses are delivered in a blend of lectures, discussion groups, workshops and practical role-playing scenarios, all of the above supported by video footage and demonstration materials, this is before any “on-site” training even takes place.

The programs are progressive and interactive, our employees are set challenges in a realistic working environment where they can put what they have learned into practice, all under the expert guidance of our tutors.
Unfortunately, not all candidates make it through this process. We set our bar high and will maintain to do so. With a pass percentage of 75%, it is one of the highest in the industry and forms both freehand and multiple-choice questions.
Our view is when it comes to lives and operating life safety equipment, we will not stand over and pass someone who falls short of our High Standards, it is for this reason that upon successful completion we are comfortable with the knowledge that our staff have both the skill set and confidence to deal with even the most arduous of tasks.

Cutlass Support Services offers a full range of services to suit multiple occupancy buildings such as apartment blocks & housing complexes, hotels, corporate premises, and Logistic centres amongst others.

Walking Watch
Whatever your needs, our highly trained and experienced talented fire safety team can be there to provide a safe and secure environment for building Waking watch duties.
The fire safety team at Cutlass Support Services are experienced in providing 24/7 Waking Watch (or Fire Watch) services for both commercial and residential buildings whose purpose is to be alert for any safety concern. This service encompasses fire safety and includes personnel such as Fire Wardens, Watchmen, and Marshalls. We tailor this service to suit single tenanted or multi-tenanted buildings for a seamless and worry-free service. All officers deployed will have undertaken official training before first deployment.
Workforce Supply
Cutlass can help you to find and manage the people you need, either for short-term or long-term projects if you need more regular, ongoing support. We can also supply staff for more specific, skilled roles, for example porters, caretakers, cleaners, logistics.
